H.P. Mugz is a quick fit, adjustable nylon muzzle for your dog that helps stop biting, barking and chewing but allows panting and drinking. It is strong, soft and flexible for long lasting use. Size 1 for dog's with 5" to 5-1/2" nose like dachshunds, jack russells, westies, and whippets. Shipping weight: 1/5 lb.
* To select muzzle size for your dog, use a string or fabric measuring tape to measure around dog's snout. Then place forefinger under measuring tape to ensure there is enough space for the dog to breathe and drink. Measure string to determine size.

Perfect for a chewer!

I love this item. It is perfect for my chewing dog. It is loose enough to allow him to drink, but strong enough to keep him from destroying my home.

barking muzzle?

It was almost comical. We bought this for travelling in the car with our dog, who has to bark at anything that moves. When she started barking at a string of motorcycles coming up beside us, I slipped it on. It was as if she didn't have it on at all, not even a change in noise volume. And yes, it had been fit for her before hand. I gave it a second star as maybe it's more effective for anything other than barking.

This item worked well for my dog who objects to having his eyes or ears touched. The size was perfect and now I have my own muzzle to take to the vet, that's adjusted to him.

Perfect in many ways

I received the product. It is well built and seems strong enough for my boy who gets antsy at the vets. I now have a soft muzzle that is just the right adjustment for him and I don't have to waste time at the vet re adjusting one of theirs. Thank you!!!
