Hagen's AquaClear Quick Filter attachment converts AquaClear Powerheads into powerful filters for rapid removal of most particulate waste and debris resulting in crystal clear aquarium water. The cartridge has an extra-thick duo-density pad that has expanded capacity for waste removal. This thick pad allows it to remove solid waste and particles as small as 1micron without difficulty. Ideal for polishing water after maintenance. Safe for fresh and saltwater use. The unit is exclusively designed to fit AquaClear Powerhead models 10, 20, 30, 50 and 70. For deeper aquariums, multiple Quick Filters can be connected. Shipping weight: 1/4 lb.

Hagen AquaClear Quick Filter Powerhead Attachment

This is a fabulously inexpensive way to get rid of your gravel and not have to go out and buy an all new filtration system! Simple, easy and effective! The ONLY thing I disliked about this product was that I am putting this Hagen product on a Marineland Penguin powerhead and, despite the fact that there is an adaptor for a smaller diameter tube, my particular tube fell in-between the two hole sizes this product offered. I had to cut some of the plastic out of the adaptor to make it fit my particular tube. So, I might suggest to Hagen that, as they are the ONLY manufacturer to offer such a product, they might wish to consider offering this product with enough different adaptors that it fits ALL makes of powerheads. This way, powerhead users would have a product that would work for them, no matter what brand they use. Smart for everyone. I might also suggest that they consider putting in a bag of ceramic rings or balls in the empty center for added filtration.

- I love that I have a way to convert my UGs to a bare bottom tank without having to go out and buy an expensive, completely new filter system. I love how inexpensive these are.
