Good Filteration, Risky Investment

I like what the FX5 can do. I have four adult red eared slider turtles in a 240 gallon tank. The pump and its media keep up even in the prime eatting times of the year. Cost is a factor. These foam inserts can go longer than a month and that helps keep the cost down. The issue with this pump and thus the media - THE PUMP CAN BE DAMAGED AT MANY LEVELS AND EVERYTIME YOU OPEN IT UP TO CLEAN IT A RISK FACTOR OCCURS.
