- Durable, long-lasting, no messes, is available in different flavors so buy the one that has taste your dog likes, is available in different sizes so I can buy one big enough that my dog won't choke on it. I even bought one for the neighbors dog. He loves the bone and quit chewing on their possessions; i.e. slippers, furniture legs, etc.

I have been letting my two dogs crew on these since they were puppies and chewing on everything else they could find. By chewing on them, I believe that they help clean their teeth. I do clean them with a brush every few weeks to freshen them up.

Good to the last chew!

We have been buying this particular chew bone for years. We have tried others, but our dog just doesn't like them. And it has to be this type of Nylabone. We've tried the other see thru ones, chicken flavored, same size, he won't touch it. We do take them away when the edges get too sharp or chewed flat and give him a new one. My dog is not a heavy chewer, so one does last at least a month or so. It also keeps him occupied on car trips.

I have provided nylabones for my dogs since the early 1990's. For our dogs, nylabones provide hours of chewing and do not splinter or fall apart. Giving them the bones early on has prevented them from chewing other things, like door frames (yikes!), and has provided a healthy outlet for that need to chew.
Pros
- I like that I can allow them to chew and not worry about anything getting stuck in their throats etc. I like that they do not consume a nylabone. I like the bone's durability.
Cons
- nothing to dislike.
