hands down best dechlorinator

Decholor by Weco is, hands down, the best dechlorinator on the market. This product is extremely easy to use (measured in drops per gallon) and does not do anything else - especially things you do NOT want it to do (like remove or neutralize ammonia, stimulate the slime coat, or relieve stress). This is the only dechlorinator currently on the market that aquarium owners should be using.

Cons
- sometimes dropper nozzle gets blocked with a bit of grit and needs to be blown across gently to clear the passage

Good basic dechlorinator

This is a good basic dechlorinator. If you don't have issues with ammonia or nitrites for example, this will do just fine. Also comes in handy for dechlorinating water for rinsing your bio-media so you don't kill off your beneficial bacteria. WECO has been making this for decades now & it's just as good as ever.
