Great carrier, but hard to clean

I love everything about these carriers (I have 7 now!) but I use them for bats who are in my care while recovering from injuries and the only thing that would make these perfect would be if they could be turned inside out for cleaning. Otherwise, I love all of the zippers and how sturdy they are. They are the best carriers I’ve been able to find and that’s why I just bought three more!

My Conure has slept at night in this for years, but has finally out grown it, however we still take him out in it like to PET shop or on an airplane trip!

The size was good, it was made well, it was exactly what I’d hoped it would be. We exchanged the padded bottom for a thicker one because my Chihuahua sleeps in it at night. She’s got plenty of room and sleeps comfy. The price was also good.

Great portable dog house

Just purchased my second Petmate. One stays in the car and one in the house. My Maltipoo feels secure in his house and often hangs out in it.
Pros
- Roomy (small size is perfect for my 13 pound dog). My dog can easily stand up and turn around because of the domed top. Great quality for a low price.

Best cat carrier ever

I had one for years and I needed a new one. Petguys.com had the best price so I bought two. This makes a great cat carrier because it's not intimidating like some carriers can be. I just put my cat in it and before he knows what's going on, he's zipped in!

I have had one of these for years and just ordered 2 more because I have fairly large cats that like to be comfortable when traveling. The flaps that easily roll up and down are another plus., and the opening is large enough to make putting the cat inside very easy. Many people have commented on the carrier because it looks so comfortable and practical. I highly recommend this carrier.

Nicer than expected!

We bought this for vacating with our little 4 lb yorkie. she has stayed in it for 2 short periods of time and so far it works well. It is very well made , and folds up nicely for storage. If your puppy is not crate trained, he may be able to claw the the screened door. that would be the only thing not great about this product. It also came with a nice carrying canvas case and a set of plastic tent stakes to secure it outdoors.

- nice looking, roomy for small pets, easily unfolded and set up, and easily put away.
Cons
- screening could be (possibly) ripped by a tougher animal. wouldn't recommend it as a full time crate for a dog, but it is advertised as portable...

I ordered two of these for two feral cats I'm feeding in my neighborhood. They are the perfect way to offer food/water while allowing a place for the cats to take shelter. I was pleasantly surprised to find that both cats went right in to eat food the first day I set these up! Very pleased with purchase and shopping experience. Would definitely purchase from PetGuys again!

Pros
- Best cat crate I've ever used. It takes a beating, is used every day, has been washed many times, and still is sturdy enough for travel in car and vet visits, but still private and comfortable enough for my chubby adult cat. I call it her palace.
- I like that there is replaceable bottom cushions available. It helped when our cat a UTI.
Cons
- I wish, for homes with multiple cats, that this brand gave more color options for the different sizes. For example the small is brown, I think one size up is green, then burgundy etc. They did release one "fashion" version which I bought as well, but they don't promote that one very well.

Pros
- This is my second one. The first is ten years old and still going strong. I now have two little dogs with many different brands and sizes of carriers and kennels for them but, they both fight over the mini Petmate. The Mini Petmate is also the smallest I have found, which makes it the most convenient for traveling on short errands with my 3 and 5 lb dogs. And since I have one that has outlasted two puppies and still looks and works great I knew I couldn't go wrong getting another one. The new one looks and works great as well.
