Kordon AmQuel Plus Instant Water Detoxifier removes nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, chlorine, chloramines, and toxic organics in older water. Because it removes a range of toxic nitrogenous compounds that otherwise build up in older aquariums and ponds, it allows for less frequent water changes, which can be a great saving in time and expense. Never change water without it!!

Petguys is always the best in customer service and the lowest price on the internet. Kordon AmQuel Plus is a great product for removing ammonia and chloramine from water. I use it every time I do a water change, replace water or from evaporation. I use 2-3 caps per 5 gallons, I have extremely high levels of chloramines in my water and Kordon AmQuel Plus is the only product that removed it to 0. I mix it to water in a 50 gallon trash can and let it sit for an hour or so before pumping it into my tanks, I do recommend making sure that there is air circulating in the tank, I also make sure that my water is at 75 degrees going in to the tank to help stabilize oxygen in the tank when using KAQP.
