There is a difference

People say there is no difference in litter scoops. That is soooo not true. There is a huge difference. I went through a half dozen scoops before I found this one. I can clean my litter boxes (I have three of them) twice as fast with these scoops than any of the others I wasted my money on. And the nice thing is this scoop is the cheapest. Love my Van Nesss Scoop, and the LS2 is the perfect size for me.

I have 27 indoor cats and 18 litter boxes that get scooped twice a day. I have used probably every litter scoop type and brand and nothing beats the Van Ness #LS2. The #LS1 is fine if you have one or 2 small boxes to scoop and the #LS3 would be good if you had a Saint Bernard litter box trained, it's just too large and the handle is too long.

Practical and Tough

I bought this scooper because my older one wasn't quite getting the smaller things in the box. This one shows endurance for the long run. Now, I'm certain the cats will bulk up on food just to give me an opportunity to prove, over and over, that it will hold up for all kinds of challenges. If the cats are happy with it, I assure you, so am I.
Pros
- Durable. Teflon-type material that allows the waste to smoothly fall into the bag. It does not feel that the scooper is made of cheap plastic- definitely durable.
- It's the quality of the material that makes quantitative easing of waste fast and furious.
Cons
- Not one thing.

Wouldn't use anything else

We have six litter boxes in the house, 3 outside and two in a barn used by our feral colony. Yeah, we have a lot of cats. We use clumping litter in all the boxes and these giant scoops are just the ticket and they last a long time before the corners wear out.
Pros
- They're sturdy, well-made and the (relatively) short handle is a plus, too. Better leverage.
Cons
- Nothing, really.
