Zoo Med's ReptiSun T8 Terrarium Hood is designed to fit terrariums 20" wide and up (10 gallons or larger). This hood can hold one 18" T8 linear fluorescent lamp. UVB is needed by reptiles for proper growth and maintenance of strong bones. Without UVB (and the appropriate temperatures), your reptile can develop metabolic bone disease which results in soft, rubbery bones within 6 months. Dimensions: 20.25"L x 4.25" W x 2"H.

Great so far!

They fit our tanks perfectly, have been working fine. I noticed before I ordered that a few people had issues, but as with anything man-made, stuff happens. Definitely pleased with my purchase. They arrived on time and were well packaged.

Nice, lightweight, and fits my 55 gallon tank perfectly. I bought this to replace my ancient, enormous, heavy hood. Much easier to use and my uro has been more active (bulb sits much closer now!) It's thin enough that I can fit the 8.5"heat lamps on top as well with no problem.
