They had this product so wrapped, there was no way it was going to break! Thank you as I ordered 3 of them and they all were in excellent condition. And thanks for having such a great price on them. I will definitely order again when on sale.

UVB Light bulb for birds

UV bulb not included, understandable. Still, it works good since my parrot doesn't get much sun light during the day when I'm at work.

Love this light. I never used any lighting unit before but i noticed that my parakeet was kind of lethargic during the winter months. So i purchased this light and the fixture. Really works great and he seems happier and more energetic.

you need more than just this light.

When i bought this light bulb,(it helps with feather plucking) i thought i could just use it in my ceiling light fixture, and yes it will fit in that, but it needs its own light fixture to do any good for the bird, because it needs to be 18 to 20 inches away from the bird, in the ceiling fixture its like 4ft. from the bird, but im still using it in the ceiling, so between the bird spray i bought and this light bulb , something is working for the bird, because there is new feather growth on him.
