PetSafe Bark Control Collar is a training device that helps reduce nuisance barking. There are two key features of the Bark Control Collar: first is a mild warning sensation triggered by your dog's first bark, second feature occurs when your dog barks again within 30 seconds of the first bark. There are a total of 6 levels of correction that are triggered by your dog's successive barks. Also features automatic shut-off for extra measure of safety. Waterproof unit is effective for dogs over 8 lbs. Includes PetSafe RFA-67 battery.

Does the trick

My beagle used to embarrass the heck out of me when we walked in the neighborhood. When he saw any dog two blocks away the barking and whining and howling persisted until they were half mile behind us. This collar has virtually ELIMINATED the problem. He still whines a bit, but nothing like the incessant noise he used to make. The correction is humane - starts out with a sonic tone, and if the dog escalates the barking after that first tone, the correction becomes stronger with each bark. All he does now is hear the tone and he stops. Great product.
