PetSafe Spray Shield Animal Deterrent Spray - Bulk Can

Fantastic product

I have used this spray effectively to stop my male dogs from fighting, keeping pets off furniture, to stop they from licking excessively and I always take it with me when I walk. I have only had to use one time, but it was very useful in keeping my three little guys safe from a much larger dog.

The product is excellent. The product works effectively for every issue the dog trainer taught us how to use it for. The bottles are small and empty quickly. On several cans, the spray nozzle didn't work.

We have used this for a couple years and it is a great product.

I work with dogs and aggressive dogs are my specialty, this is the only safe way to stop a fight without getting bit.

Not working spray. My dog at all is not afraid of this smell. This spray does not work.

I have a big German shepherd/malamute mix, a very sweet dog but with problems around other large breeds. We adopted him 1 1/2 years ago and didn't know his temperament entirely, but noticed his aggression. I've been through at year of training with him, but still there's an occasional problem. SpraySheild has effectively diverted the dogs' attention to allow me and other owners/handlers to intervene safely to prevent a real dog fight. I have also used it to intervene with other dogs fighting, all in dog parks. Again, it was hugely effective. The other owners mostly thanked me, after finding that it is safe to the dog, and so effective. Some owners have been upset, but this is mostly calmed when they realize that they may have saved from huge vet bills to the dogs that might have occurred in the fight, or hospital bills for dog bites if they had been bitten trying to intervene.

This product was recommended to us by our trainer and it has definitely lived up to her recommendation. We use it when our very excitable Border Collie gets a little crazy on walks when she sees other dogs. We tried a citronella collar, but because of her long snout, it never seemed to make it to her nostrils. But, one shot of the PetSafe spray to the nose, and she gets herself under control pretty quickly. We are very impressed with this product so far - it is very effective.

I've bought this exact product many times online and they always came with a clip attached so you don't need to wear a tool belt or pockets to carry it around. I wear dresses often and NEED the clip otherwise this product is useless to me. So now I have to drive to the hardware store and duct tape some kind of clip to all 4 cans I purchased. I wish the product description would mention this is only a can and has no clip attached like normal spray shield has.

Great price. Ordering 11 to get free shipping allows us to have one on every countertop throughout the whole house. responding within 4 seconds of a behavioral moment is important and is working very well for us.

I have two Australian Shepherd's who are 2 1/2 and 3 years old. Their 'play' can get way to exuberant in the house and outside they were starting to bark at people and other pets who were walking by. After administering only a few sprays into the fray or on their noses outside they have learned to respect this product. If they see the spray can they immediately stop the behavior. I would definitely recommend SprayShield.

As a trainer and behaviorist, I work with aggressive and reactive dogs on a weekly basis. We always have Spray Shield on hand in the training studio just in case. I also wear it on my belt any time I take my own dogs out for a walk, as you never know when you might be approached by a loose dog - with or without an owner around! I've used it successfully several times on walks to deter dogs from approaching closer than my dogs or I would like.
