Petkin Hairball Lickstick is a easy-to-use, feed from stick remedy that helps eliminate and prevent hairballs in kittens and cats. Just turn dial and let your kitty lick directly from the stick or apply on paws.

Ingredients:
Malt Extract, Petrolatum, Purified Water, Monoglyceride, Vitamin E, and Sodium Benzoate.
Directions:
Turn dial raising product to appropriate height for a single dose. Allow cat to lick directly from stick, rub on front paws or feed from finger, Feed daily between meals (up to 3 days) to quickly eliminate hairballs. (Prior to first use and as needed, rub top layer to soften and straighten.) To help prevent hairballs: feed 1-2 times weekly and brush frequently.

This product is by far the best malt/hairball product for cats. All my cats love the lickstick so much, I actually have to stop them from eating too much~! I have so much trouble finding it in local stores, even stores that carry other Petkin products, so hopefully Petguys.com will continue to carry the product so I can buy it here again.

- great viscosity, it doesn't come off their paws once you have put it there, not like other brands that fly off all over once you let go of your pet

Henry and Teddy prefer lickstick to other products. They both go at it at the same time.
They do not get lickstick on the carpet like other products. They love the flavor.
The other products have flavors like tuna that they will not even try.

I've tried other forms of hairball remedies, and this is the only one my cat actually likes to eat.
Pros
- My cat loves the taste of this stuff -- and I love not having to pick up hairballs!
Cons
- The only thing I could possibly say is a con is that the "stick" (like a stick deodorant) gets messy, as it's tough to get the cap back on without some of the product squishing out when you put the lid back on after use.

This is the only hairball remedy my cat likes. I have tried the others (tubes) and she refuses to lick them and when you try to put those on her paw, they are very liquidy and it goes everywhere. Smart cats know how to scrape it off themselves without licking. This stuff is a little thicker than those, it's a push up stick, so it's clean and my cat will readily lick this right from the stick. I have to pull it away from her or she will take too much. Then she has a messy poop situation, so I have to be careful how much I give her. All I know is this has been a lifesaver for my cat. She sometimes chokes on her fur balls and this helps prevent them. I hope they continue to keep making this stuff. Smells like molasses, not a fishy or malty smell.

- cleaner than a messy tube, can twirl it back into the container like a deodorant stick
