Sentry Petrodex Dental Water Additive for Cats and Dogs is an easy way to help keep water fresh, while whitening teeth and freshening breath.

Features:

  • Chlorhexidine and zinc gluconate provides strong antimicrobial benefits and help reduce accumulation of plaque and tartar
  • Great for use between brushings for healthy teeth and gums
  • Includes measuring cup
Active Ingredients:
Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.12%

Inactive Ingredients:
FD&C Blue 1, Flavor, Glycerin, Methylparaben, Purified Water, Sorbitol, Zinc Gluconate.

Directions for Use: Add 1 tablespoon (0.5 fl oz) per 2 cups (16 fl oz) of fresh drinking water. Use daily for best results.

This water additive is one of the few that has an ingredient that our vet recommended.
Note: I had asked him about the water additives that claim to help with dental caries. He expressed doubt that any product would do much, but he did say if it didn’t have “hexa” something (can’t remember the long name), it wouldn’t do anything for dental cariesw, which is why I would use the additive.
