Skip the corn

My squirrels were fairly happy with this product, but there is way too much corn in the mix. Seems California squirrels are super picky and don't want corn in their mix. They eat everything but the corn. So, I have to go through and pick it out before I put it in their feeding spot. Besides corn is not healthy for them. Would like to see larger nuts in the shell in the mix.Other than that, happy with the product.

I was impressed with the quality of this food. The halved walnuts, acorns, corn etc were sufficient and seemed substantial for the animals.

Okay mix, great price

I mix this in with the "nut delight" mix for a little variety, but a lot of this mix is just corn and peanut shells, so I don't use it as the primary mix. Squirrels don't even eat the corn, usually. Not when better stuff is available (particularly the nuts in the other mix). They love the peanuts, though.
