Yeti Dog Chew is an organic hard cheese made with yak and cow milk that is all natural and contains no chemicals, preservatives or additives. This recipe has been enjoyed by the people in the Himalayan region of Nepal for centuries. Medium size is great for dogs up to 35 lbs. Contains 1 chew (2.5 oz).

How They're Made:
- Yak and Cow Milk is boiled and poured into a manual churning barrel that extracts most of the prevalent fat
- The coagulated mixture is then poured into a sieve so that the solid material used to make the cheese is separated from the whey
- Most of the lactose from the milk is transferred into the whey, therefore the resulting cheese is virtually void of lactose
- The solid is then transferred to a burlap sack, where any remaining whey residue and water is meticulously drained out
- The soft cheese is then kneaded until the substance is finely blended then hand cut into desired shapes and sizes
- The cheese is then sundried to attain the perfect hardness and texture

Please Don’t Send Broken Dog Chews

These are expensive dog chews in that they last such a short time for my dog, but she does love them and I continue to indulge her even though they are 730 cal each. That being said, I was a bit unhappy that I received a broken chew. They go down in size so quickly, and it isn’t safe to give them the last portion because it’s so small and they can choke. I’ve never been a fan of putting it in the microwave and puffing it up. I just did not like it that mine had a substantial broken piece when it arrived. That is a hazard of buying online and not getting to select your own.

I have a 50 pound English bulldog who is a super chewer. I have purchased these from different sources and thought buying in bulk from this site would be helpful. These are not same quality. They are skinny and not as hard. He ate the whole thing in 30 minutes. They usually last him a week or longer.

Product is just as described. Our dog would eat the whole bone in one day if we let her. If any smaller pieces break off, they puff up in the microwave so the dog can then safely chew it.

My 6 month old ShiTzu is teething. I got her this dog chew at a country store, then 2 weeks later ordered from Petguys. This keeps her busy for hours on end. She even tries to bring it to bed with her. She absolutely loves it. The medium is a little big for her, but she holds it in her paws and works away. Her Nylabones have been left aside. Great product. Minimal smell, does not leave a mess on carpet or wood flooring. When it gets small, I nuke it . It gets bigger and gives her more time with it.

Owning a Rottweiler can be tough in finding a good chew bone. Their jaws are very strong, where they can get large pieces of rawhide and swallow them. (not good) These Yeti are hard, are lasting much longer and he loves them.

Our two basset hounds love their yeti bones... my wife and I like that they don't stink after being chewed on...we (our dogs) also love them after they are microwaved into a special crunchy dog treat...our dogs don't get rawhide because of the bleaching and chemicals used, Yeti bones are a great treat for our pups...

Extremely thick and hard

My 2 year old 30 lb. Mutt had a hard time with this, and my 13 yo Jack Russell couldn't even get his mouth open wide enough to try. I ordered smaller ones from another place, still too hard to chew. I tried softening in water and in the microwave... Still as hard as a rock. Sammi did manage to eat one, but I would say these are only for large, incredibly aggressive chewers

I know my Bulldogs favorite toys and bones (femurs). If she finds a "prized" possession, she will bury it right away, until it surfaces a few days later. However, THIS one has gone MIA for a week. I know she didn't forget or Lose it, because she can find/smell out the stuff I hide in the top rack of the laundry room! Once we relocate this bone, I may have to update this review, to explain why it went MIA for so long.
