I can't tell you how much misery looking for this product caused me. I had ordered it from Amazon which was a great price except that I received the wrong size. Large reptiles will not use a medium.
I looked for it at my regular pet shops and couldn't find it. Online Petco, Chewy and others only carried small and medium models.
Finally I found the right size for a reasonable price at petguys.com. I ordered 3 of them and waited with anticipation for them to arrive. Petguys sent me the tracking number and they arrived on time and boy was I excited.
My excitement faded as the first one was damaged. The others were in good condition and in one piece. I immediately contacted petguys and they worked with me to insure a return and replacement.
I got my replacement and sent the damaged item back with their pre-paid label. Smooth and easy.
I have set the shelter in my reptiles' enclosures and they love it. My Fire Skinks are always in there because they love humidity and digging. My Jeweled Lacertas also seem to occupy their new home.
Overall I am satisfied with both the service from petguys.com and the Zoo Med Repti Shelter Large Cave.

geckos love this hide

I got this hide for a small colony of hatchling leopard geckos. They love it. They are always in it, and this is a small one, all 3 juveniles cram in it. I put coco fiber in the hide, moistened it with a mister and put it in their enclosure.
Pros
- Easy to set up.
- Easy to clean.
- Right size for small leopard geckos
Cons
- Dries out if you don't keep your substrate moist, but I check mine daily.

Great Size

I was worried this would be too small, but it's a great size. Zoo Med makes quality products and this is no exception. Couldn't find a lower price anywhere either.

Snake loves it a lot more than I do

If my snake didn't love this product so much, I would never have bought the second one after the first one had a piece simply break off in my hands while I removed it for a tank cleaning one day. This seems to get a lot of mildew? algae? mold? I don't know what the stuff is, but over time, it makes the material softer, especially around the edges of the top and bottom. But...my snake ADORES his "hidey-hole", as we call it. He goes in there to sleep, he goes in when he feels stressed out, and he even goes in there to relax and lays his head out along the edge of the hole so he can watch tv with us. (I know he doesn't REALLY WATCH TV, but he seems to be able to (based on sight and the heat of the tv?), when we are watching a show about reptiles...LOL) . If I hadn't bought him a new one, he would have been really upset.. So overall, my ball python loves it, so it is worth buying a new one when the old one wears out.
